Am I stuck in repeat mode, or what? Where’s the skip-track button in life? Can somebody answer that for me? Because by the looks of things, I’m going to be wrestling Superstar Joe for the tenth or eleventh time in the past year. In the past six months, I’ve fought Joe more times than I would have ever imagined I would and the battles were long-drawn, boring and really tiring for both of us. We don’t want to get injured and we don’t want to wrestle each other anymore, we already proved what we have to prove against each other. But if this is for BWA, if this is just for ratings… fine. I’ll accept that, I’ll just shrug and wrestle my match against Joe.
Somehow, Marcus Williams managed to get the British Wrestling Alliance back in his hands after a near year out of his grasps. I’m not particularly annoyed at this, because it’s good to see that some wrestlers are going to be eager to jump back ship to BWA and which ones will remain in Fans Wrestling Alliance. Me? I moved on. Besides, why would I go back there? Marcus fired me; I didn’t leave the federation or anything. He wanted me gone, so there, I’ll remain gone. He told me that I would never work for him again as a full-time wrestler and I don’t want him to look like a liar. One-night only matches, that isn’t so bad. I wrestled the anniversary show last year, and now I’m wrestling the one-off show. Candidly, I’m not really looking like the kind of guy who keeps my word and that’s the truth… I’m not a guy who keeps my word. My decisions change on a daily and secondly basis, but is that my fault? Some things are just too intriguing to turn down while others are too disappointing to accept.
But if there’s one thing I’ll make sure of, it’s that I’m never going to be a full-time BWA superstar ever again. FWA is offering me so much more; I became a god in something that is the Reckless division. Have you heard the story, Marcus? I made something from nothing, just like I did for you back in the day. That World title, let me make you understand something; it wouldn’t be as big as it is today if it weren’t for me wrestling epic matches against Benjamin Stephens, Superstar Joe or even that MJ Storm. If you don’t like that, it’s all right… I really don’t care. Fact is, I haven’t cared for much in the past little while, myself one of those things.
But the match… the match. The one-off show, I’ll speak a bit about that. You won’t be against my thoughts, will you? Marcus? Joe? Fans? BWA originals? I mean, I’m frikkin’ main-eventing this show, duh… my thoughts and opinions simply own yours.
Open.
“All right, let me rant and rave about this event. It’s not really as great as it could be, so stop fuckin’ hyping it, people. British Wrestling Alliance, let me break it down into the simplest form that one can. It’s a wrestling federation that is now viewed as a former training camp for Fans Wrestling Alliance’s big stars such as Superstar Joe, Heather Wallace, Serenity and even myself, Davidson. At one point in history, BWA was ready to hit it as a professional wrestling federation when they brought in superstars such as Nic E Dangerously, William Rodney Mercy, Shawn Richards and a new flock of wrestlers. However, Marcus Williams destroyed that opportunity for his federation to become big when he fired a superstar in the top three… he was the Feature Presentation, Davidson.
“When Davidson was fired for losing a match against James Tsunami, not only did the legend leave the federation but a group of his fans stopped watching the program, too. If Davidson wasn’t there anymore, what was the purpose of watching the program? They didn’t have wrestlers who supplied the necessary entertainment, they just had people with gimmicks who tried to wrestle. The matches weren’t good, but BWA made an attempt at trying to make people think otherwise. How? They released the Best of the BWA which was a Box-Set containing five DVD’s that had the federation’s supposedly best matches. Such matches were Teck versus Dude, Kevin Newman versus Shawn Richards and even Erika Marie versus Holly Jones. Holly is perhaps the only good wrestler of the whole six, but you know what… there was maybe one of Davidson’s matches in there and that was the Born Legends I match-up against Superstar Joe.
“The company even dared to make rankings of which were the best matches in the company’s history and my match ranked at number twenty-four. Of the five discs, there were fifty matches. Me and Joe made it past the halfway point. Here’s a little view of the ‘best’ matches, all right? Grab a bucket or a paper-bag, you might throw up.
Number 50 was Teck versus Dude.
Number 40 was Null and Void versus the Asian Mafia, an unofficial match, mind you.
Number 30 was Johnny Legend and Nic E Dangerously in action.
Number 20 was Marcus Williams versus James Tsunami.
Number 10 was Superstar Joe versus Benjamin Stephens. Probably the only REAL top match.
Number 1… sigh… Shawn Richards versus that chick-friend of his, I forget her name, but it was that Exposed Turnbuckles Match. Bertha? Was it Bertha? Maybe it was Beth…
So yeah, the Best of the BWA is complete bullshit. None of it was good, it is all lies. Not to sound cocky or arrogant, but the best matches were before my firing. Everything after that was… well… shitty. The company maybe had one or two good battles after, but the quality of things were depleted and soon enough the federation resorted to one thing… war with Fans Wrestling Alliance and seal the deal for another supershow. Yay!
“People didn’t view the British Wrestling Alliance as something great while it was running as a federation; it was when it was done being a federation. They looked at the past and started to realize that they put on some great matches. BWA was barely even heard of, people didn’t even acknowledge it at times. It was like roadkill on the highway; you saw it but that was just about it. You never looked back at it, you never thought about how it got to be. It was just roadkill like BWA was just a wrestling federation based in Britain. Whoop-dee-fuckin’-doo.
“BWA better cherish this event, because it’s the last time that they have the Feature Presentation main-event their shows and even wrestle on one of them, too. I’m done with you, BWA. I’m moving on, I’m not going to demote myself anymore.”
Fade.
