With manager Rob Collins, the two sit on the hood of his 2007 Honda Civic. The two are playing with remote control monster trucks, two feet long in length and a foot high. Attached to them are knives and a gun in the front, so we're seeing them play a home-made version of Battle Bots. Rob accelerates the speed of his monster truck and swipes the knife across the left tires of Chris' truck, and the two watch as it doesn't affect a thing, only slicing the rubber out of the tire that doesn't require any air. Tougher turns his truck away from Rob's and makes it go underneath somebody's car. He hears the gun fire and a liquid starts to pour from the bottom of the car. He speeds his monster truck out of there and makes it come in their direction, soon stabbing the knife through the grill of Rob's truck.
"Ah!"
"Heh."
Chris backs his truck up, dragging Rob's truck as the knife is wedged tightly into his truck. He drags it underneath the car with the liquid pouring out of it and he gets the back trunk part filled with the stuff, whatever it is. Taking Rob's truck to a metal dumpster, Chris knocks it onto it's side, making it unable to go anywhere. He speeds away and leaves Rob's truck on its side. After a couple of seconds, Chris haults his truck and turns it around, speeding back and scraping his knife against the metal dumpster, making a spark fly out and hit the liquid, soon igniting the truck that belongs to Rob! Tougher makes his truck come to his direction at a fast pace and as it is coming, the batteries within Rob's monster truck explode, destroying his toy into a thousand or more pieces.
"Sweet."
"It's all gone..."
"That's what happens."
"Asshole! Was that liquid gas?"
"Yeah, I think it was gas. Kind of funny, though."
"You totally ruined that person's gas-tank, whose was it?"
"I'm not sure, but they should be aware of the crazy thigns I do."
"Oh well, you won the match. I guess you're the APW Battle Bot champion."
"Definitely, nobody can match up to my talent and skills. My record is currently 1-0."
"You're undefeated, Chris, that's something to pride. Someday you'll make it to the real Battle Bots."
"Know what's another awesome thing? How we're totally speaking and creating a pyramid out of it all, but it's a coincidence."
"It has to be a coincidence or what else would it be? I'm sure that we didn't try to create a pyramid out of talking on purpose, or that would be lame."
Chains rattle in the distance and we hear a motor run loudly. Chris squints his eyes at the corner of the stadium and he sees a red monster truck come around the corner, dragging a long chain behind it and on the end is a metal ball with nine inch nails attached to it, making it look like one of those medievil maces. A figure rounds the corner with a grin on his face and a huge controller in his hand. Glaring at Tougher and Rob, he grins and nods his head, showing off his monster truck. Sharp studs like you would see on winter tires are on the back tires, which are twice the side that they should normally be. Showing his vehicle off, he backs it up and makes the back tires climb up the walls, then he speeds and does a catwalk to Tougher's truck.
"Johnny Fame... we meet again."
"Yes, we do... so shall we due or is your piece of junk there still sore from the last battle?"
"Actually, it is a bit sore and I knew that you would want to call me out after seeing this one hurt... so that's why I have a second one, that's better, in the trunk of my car."
"Oh?"
"Yeah, I do... and I'm positive that it can kick your monster truck's ass, so you better watch out, Fame..."
"Watch out? My monster truck is 11-0 in battles, I beat you 7 times!"
"YOU LIED TO ME!"
"It's time for lucky number 8."
"There is no lucky number 8, there's only lucky number 7. And you blew that."
"Well, this time 8's going to mean something different."
"And what is that?"
Tougher pops the trunk of his Civic and walks to the back, pulling out a monster truck twice the size of his other one. Compared to Johnny's truck, it's about the same size. The front has a sharp javelin, the side have spike strips used to pop tires, the rims have automatic whipper-snippers so that it can chew at the side of any truck, and the back has a cheese grater on it. Another awesome feature is a flamethrower on the back, so it can literally destroy your truck, however it has limited gasoline, so it's only used when in near-death situations.
"8's now going to mean Chris Tougher's victory. When you put 8 on its side, it means INFINITY!"
"Ah!"
"Heh."
