"Respect. Let's throw this word out of the window, much like James has been doing lately. I know its worth and use, which is close to nothing. It's worthless, it's useless; it becomes one of those words that transform from meaning to crap. I said it before a week or so ago that I used to respect William, but I guess that isn't enough for him to actually understand that. So what does he do? He takes a few shots at me, makes me seem like I don't matter, and starts to contemplate on either staying or going. If you go, there are some limited choices you have to run to. You can go to W2K, maybe have the match you dreamt of having against Ryan Cain - or you can go elsewhere, like RWS, and be part of the crew that is much like you and takes shots at the federation. Really, it's your choice - either way, nobody will give a crap anymore. You'll be the center of attention in W2K since you'll be beaten up by the guys who want your blood, and you'll be the only attention in RWS since everybody will basically laugh at you for making such a stupid decision. Or maybe if you feel man enough, you can stay and do what you were told to do: fight me just once. I knew you weren't happy about wrestling me, but to actually have it make you think about leaving is what really gets me. If you don't want this match, then so be - we won't have it. Don't be a baby about things, just because somebody messed up in the past doesn't mean you still have to hold a grudge against them for this long. Everybody makes mistakes, we're not perfect people - forget the past, let the sleeping dog lie. It's not that hard. If you think that I'm going to be leaving Fans Wrestling Alliance, Mercy, you're sadly mistaken. I didn't come here to wrestle you, I came here to rise to the top. If you want to throw a fit about how unsatisfied you are, write a letter about how angry you are. I'm sure that Alex Redding or Katherine Sullivan will have no problem with firing your ass and restricting you from ever coming back. Maybe we'll be happier."
And how. Nobody cared about Mercy before, so why should we care after he's gone? He wasn't part of the pack, and never was. He's just here to puff himself up and look glorified, then overshadow everybody and try to make them feel like shit. Too bad, I'm not buying it. He's no hero, it's all an act.
"We're all aware of how involved you want to be with Conflict these days, Mercy. You file countless complaints about how you want this to be the best week ever, how you think we should book this and that. You're backstage contributions to the company are crap at best, so while you're at it - shut your mouth. Some weeks will be fast and some will be slow - don't play around with business you shouldn't meddle with. You're a wrestler, you're only used for one thing and that is to wrestle on the cards. If you held any importance in this company, we wouldn't be seeing you wearing tights and building yourself up to be as big as Mike Tyson or whoever the Hell is the big guy in boxing or MMA today. If FWA is running things in a way you don't like, how about you just bring back the Mercy Chamber or whatever the Hell it is and start your own promoting and wrestling shows? I'd like to see how perfect you are for the job, myself. Next time put things like this into consideration before lashing out at management about how they can't properly construct a card, air results at the promised time and even announce shows. If they had a problem with doing any of those, don't you think that they would have been reaching out and trying to get people to take part in them on a daily basis? Like I said; you always have the Mercy Chamber to go to if there's a promotion you want to bring back. Alex and Katherine run FWA, not you. You're not somebody who makes change, William - you're somebody who earns it. Enjoy those pennies while you get 'em. They may add up to a nice dollar someday. Who knows what you could buy with that - surely I request you save up for Business Decisions for Dummies. Then maybe your voice will be worth more than the shit you spew."
Don't be surprised if William is actually taking advice from people who don't matter. He has a knack for doing things like that. He talks to people who don't concern the situation, then brings them into it and has them speak for him rather than himself. Why? Because he has no real opinion. He just bases his off of other people. No wonder he always wins his matches: he gets other people to speak/write for him.
"You have the littlest things to bitch about, don't you? What's one match to William Rodney Mercy? Isn't that all you ever do nowadays is get one match with somebody? You wanted one match with Davidson and you got it. You wanted one match with Ryan Cain but you didn't. If that really bothers you so much, you're in the wrong business. Maybe try to go to UFC and work once a month while everything else you do is training in the gym. You may not no-show, but why break the streak like that? It's not so hard to just pop-up on-screen like you just did and rant. If you had done that sooner, we wouldn't be in this predicament right now with you on the brink of leaving. But hey, suit yourself - I'm quite content with my position in the company. Nobody else appears to be complaining about it, either - I guess it's just your low tolerance of people rising up quicker than your idol - Rocky. Boxing sucks, by the way. Bite an ear out of frustration, I hear stress-balls have shit on that. I can't help but laugh when you say that you looked out for the FWA. If I remember correctly, you scarcely made appearances up until this past fall. Where were you then, William? FWA has been here for over two years and you consider yourself a major part to it and the history that it made when you are nothing but a procrastinating hero that starts to decide to leave over somebody so small in comparison to him? To be quite frank, your words don't hurt as much as some say they do - they don't fluster my feathers, they just flutter by them."
Not over his head, thank you very much.
"I've seen people dedicated more than you. Some wrestlers have been here for a year and consistently put their part into the federation. Names that come to mind are Jade Rayzor and Deus, two people that watched over the federation more than you ever have. But you can keep dreaming, Will, you can hope and believe everything that you pretend is real. Believe your own shit, I can't help but find it amusing when people do that. Fans Wrestling Alliance won't suffer without you. It will actually lighten up the atmosphere and have people be friends again, not enemies who pretend to be alright with things but later turn out to be two-faced and have a whole different opinion altogether. I guess that I'm ever-so glad that so-and-so decided to show me exactly what you were saying about me and your initial thoughts on me overall."
ERIC says:
he only came back because he had nowhere else to go
"Heh."
