'Seems that William is already developing a form of alzeimers or something that is making him stupider, or he's just not paying attention when he's wrestling or listening to promos. Maybe all of those Eye of the Tiger moments have done some major damage to his ear drums, causing him to miss out on some things that people say. All would be possible choices to his lack of intelligence as of late, and if you're asking what kind of things he's lacking, make a wild guess. If those guesses are of Jesse lacking respect, being ungrateful and even being a loud-mouth - then yeah, you're probably right.'
'Whether or not you're paying attention, either, Jesse's always been grateful for every single match that he has had in Fans Wrestling Alliance. Before he has never had these kinds of opportunities, so he didn't know why he was getting them all of a sudden. When he did get them, he thanked management for them because he was grateful for the opportunities that came his way out of nowhere. He was respectful for these kinds of things, they are rare to happen to somebody in such short time. So there goes William's so-called fact out of the window, just like a sheet of paper crunched into a ball that didn't have anything else but an improper theory written on it. It's a piece of shit, might as well burn it since it's trash. His opinion, that is. Not the paper.'
'Hmm, and a loud-mouth. Sure, there were times when he was announcing that he defeated somebody in a match, but it's not because he's a loud-mouth, it's because he's happy he did something he didn't think he could at first. If you ever defeated somebody that in your eyes was a huge challenge, wouldn't you say it more than once, too? It's nothing more than saying that it meant a lot to you and your self-esteem in this business, not that you want to shove the victory down everybody's throats and make them understand how much of a threat you are to this business, industry and world.'
So the cameras open up on Jesse, seated on a bench in a San Diego dog-walking park.
Jesse James Miller: Moody. Overhyped. A fool. Three things that William Rodney Mercy just described me as a few moments ago, probably hoping to insult me and probably piss me off. But you know what, I'm not going to get all puffed up over something that is most-likely and definitely-possibly true. I mean, let's face the facts here, people - I am moody. For the past week, I've been turning my nose up over a lot of things and thinking that I'm better than anybody else. And is there anything wrong about that? Is there anything wrong about being a little over confident in myself just for the Hell of it? I don't know if William realizes this or not, but in order to push yourself and make yourself seem better than the rest - you have to act like you're better than the rest. You have to push yourself for success, you have you believe you can do something that you want to do. Don't just say it to yourself, don't just nod your head and say "I think I can". You're not a damn train, you're not running down a track that only goes in one direction. You're a human being, you're walking through a large city where there are roads wherever you turn. There's one to your left, there's one to your right, there's one behind you and there's one in front. And when you choose to take one or the other, what do you see again? Three more roads that are new to you and one behind yourself that you've already gone on. Neat thing is, all these roads lead to one another. Make a decision that gets you nowhere, you're back where you started. There are roads that lead to the bad places of the neighborhood and there are some that lead to the good parts of town. Again, it's up to you to find your destination and how you get there is up to you. You can ask for directions and think you can get there, or you can follow your instincts and know for a fact that you can get there. No believing, no hoping for luck - just do it.
Stretching his arms across the back rest, he props one leg up and rests the foot on his knee, sorta like how guys "cross" their legs.
Jesse James Miller: Overhyped I may be, it even came as a surprise to me to see myself pushed to the moon that quick. My opponents were no accident and my victories over most of them wasn't because of luck, either. Everything happens for a reason and I'm sure you have heard that a few times in your life, William. Where I stand, where I am, who I am talking to... it all happened for a reason, and that reason, I can't quite figure out. But some things in life aren't meant to be answered, and if this question doesn't get an honest reply from the person who made it happen, no big deal, because I'm content with what's happening in my career and my life right now. After my first two big wins, people started talking about me non-stop on the internet forums, wrestling magazines and wherever else you might even imagine. Your own children may be closet-Miller fans, wearing my merchandise and chanting my name during my wrestling matches. You can't make them change their mind even if that is the truth, William; but what you can do is discipline, teach them what happens when they are supporting the so-called enemy... and teach them what happens when they are fans of somebody who's fluffed up. But hey, I said it before - I don't speak lies, I can't deny the facts. Overhyped I am. I don't exactly deserve this attention so much and so fast, especially after having a few big victories here and there every single week. I haven't won a title yet, nor have I accomplished some sort of record that meets Hall of Fame standards. But stuff happens, William, and as much as I would like to work long and hard to get my fame and attention - that step has been skipped for it was already done for me when I came here. It's great having somebody looking over me while I'm not doing anything, huh? Somebody loves me.
Looking up at the sky, the transparent face of Ron Burgundy appears and smiles a shining grin. He disappears soon after.
Jesse James Miller: A fool. I don't really know what you mean by that because what have I done so far that made me look like an idiot in front of thousands, perhaps millions, of people? Everything I have done was impressive and far from crap, so your opinion is... eh, flawed? You're entitled to it, but why should you be entitled to an opinion that has no proof? I don't exactly call kicking your ass after I said I would foolish, would you? If anything, you're the fool here. Either that, or you're just a tad bit jealous for having these opportunities coming towards me at a much faster and rapid rate than they have in your direction. Degrading your name? That's nonsesne, William. I haven't been shitting on your legacy, I acknowledged your past history and accomplishments. I've even said that they were to be respected and able to intimidate somebody such as myself. There are a lot of things that I wouldn't even dare to tarnish, but you go on to say that I am doing something which I am not all for the sake of spending a few extra seconds on-air. Typical you, so why am I a bit surprised? Every single match I've had, every win and opportunity, I felt blessed and grateful for having. For my first couple of matches against Georgia James, James Tsunami and Superstar Joe - I appreciated the fact that I was able to wrestle against them. I lost against Joe, but did I get angry? No, I brushed it off and respected the competition that went on in there. There's no way that I can be special because I am a problem solver. You put a task before me, I'll give it my best performance to find a way to overcome it. There are times that I fail, but that is very few and almost impossible. Then there are times when I can succeed, and that is proving to me more frequent than I thought. Save your time, there's no need to teach a lesson of respect - I know how to give it and I know how to earn it. The problem is, do you? Well, if you don't, that's why I'm here... again. I'm a problem solver!
Pulling out a paper and a notepad, he does some complicated algebra question and shows it to the camera. Amazing.
Jesse James Miller: I don't know how much respect you want out of somebody, William, I really don't know. I gave you respect by wrestling an honest match against you at Legends ReBorn and I was grateful for that rare opportunity. How much do you intend to squeeze out of me? I'm not an orange, you can't cut me in half and squeeze so much respect out of this part of me and so much more out of the other part. However, if those are your intentions such as killing me is, all the power to you. You're William Rodney Mercy, after all; I'm sure that you can get what you want, as long as you say it. No need for a stretcher or an ambulance at ringside, it's all useless because if I had to commit murder for the sake of a win in that ring - I think I'll pass, even if the opportunity arose. As much as it would be awesome to see you one last time in this company, I think there's already a route set up for you. Remember what happened to your brother? Yeah, he kind of got fired, right? Let's hope that you're the next to get the pink-slip and sent out of here. Oh no? What? Is that not respectful to you, your legacy, your history and your name? So what, deal with it. This isn't a tea-party, we're not going to be nice to one another even though respect is definite. You've been around this industry for a very long time, yet you don't seem to understand the instant respect that is given to other wrestlers. Then again, me dropping you on your head with such impact might make this more understandable. Have you seen a doctor lately?
Scratching his head, Jesse wonders. Oh well.
