After awhile, bored of sitting around and listening to rambling, the Feature Presentation gets up off of his ass and struts his stuff to the podium, clearing his throat. The people in the room all look up at him, impressed with his awesomeness.
Davidson: "Seems like there's a lot of tension going on in the media room right now, just as I would have expected. Two of my best opponents I've ever wrestled in my career in both British Wrestling Alliance and Fans Wrestling Alliance, James Tsunami and William Rodney Mercy, have announced their retirement from the business and to be honest, I'm not surprised. Face the facts, kids. Look at the two of them, inside and outside of the ring. They come here, dressed all fancy-like in their... tuxedos, bows, ties, cuffs and collars, thinking that they're impressing people when really, they're not. If they can't impress people in the ring, then what in the Hell makes them think that their fashion will be any different? So William wears Sean-John sweaters? So James drives a Cadillac Escalade? It's not that impressive. You can wear this or drive that, but in the end, it turns you into one thing... a sell-out. Now that they've made enough money from their sponsors, they're going to decide to leave this place and live a life in bliss until they notice they're running low on their oh-so fine dollars. Then you'll see them start popping up here again, wrestling one-off matches for some stupid reason. What reason would that be? Simple, money. It's what wrestlers are mostly here for. Good opponents they might have been, but bad people they'll always be. They're much like recently retired Superstar Joe, and they're joining the club, too. Almost all of the BWA originals... Heather Wallace, Holly Jones, Benjamin Stephens, MJ Storm, James Tsunami... they've got the boots hung up. Me, on the other hand? Look at me now. I'm still going. I'm true, I'm passionate. Nothing will take that away from me."
Five-years, almost non-stop. That's dedication.
Davidson: "Now there's also a little punk in this room who thinks he's actually a threat to me, making me scared with his comments directed towards me. Tim Torn, you're just wasting your own time. As much as a douche you are, you're none of my concern. So I walked out on you at Conflict during our match against the Carnifexi? Big fuckin' whoop. I've had partners do it to me before, and I've done it to them, too. If anything, you should have expected nothing less. You're a kid, you don't take this sport seriously, and everybody around you - Ramirez, Deus, Seifer, myself - tell you that whenever we can, everytime, all the time. You've been here and there in the past three years, I've noticed. In the past three years, I've really only been in three wrestling federations: BWA, FWA and APW. I've seen you in all three, jumping back and forth, it got quite annoying to see you here and there, signing a short-term contract. Make yourself a home, prove that you've matured in this sport. I'm no James Tsunami fan or friend, but if you're going to blame the beating you got on him, you've really ran out of excuses. James didn't set you up for that, nor did he have any reason to interfere. He might have been a friend to you then, but why should he have jumped in and helped you? Maybe he's smart, maybe he wanted to see you toughen out over time. It's the best for all of us and even better for yourself, kid."
Reaching in his pocket, Davidson grabs an action figure and tosses it to Tim. He doesn't catch it, so it just hits the table and falls to the ground.
Davidson: "Moving onto my match against Seifer. I've never gone one-on-one against the guy, and even though we've had a small brief altercation on Conflict, I really think that he might be the most difficult opponent I've faced here in FWA and in wrestling for about a year. I've known who he was and what his name was for a few years now and I always wondered when the time would come when I would finally step up in the ring against him. A few years later, here we are, about to have our first singles match where we fight one-on-one for his Attitude championship that he has held for nearly two-hundred days. I'd love to pry that title away from his hands and keep it in my grasp, seeing if I would be able to hold onto it longer than he has - but that would be difficult. Very, very difficult. Respect to you, Seifer, for actually trying to make a difference in this company unlike these guys who only are here for the money and fame. Know who they are? They're the quitters. People who quit and give up are weak. The strong keep battling. The strong are immortal."
Seifer raises his head after a long daze, Davidson's speeches get quite boring... I know, I know.
Davidson: "Seifer, are you strong? Are you immortal? I've heard that you were, but I must find out on my own."
Looking over at Seifer, Davidson's eyes meet with his. They exchange glances, then Davidson steps back and goes to take his seat.
